OIL ANALYSIS

Oil change intervals even today are determined empirically and oil changes are realized without taking into consideration the real quality of the lubricant. This causes unnecessary costs. If an oil change is realized too early, a still flawless lubricant is thrown away; if an oil change is realized too late, machine damages can occur. The ideal case would be to realize oil changes depending on the condition. The highest reliability is provided by a laboratory analysis realized with a correctly taken oil sample. With the KLEENOIL oil analysis equipment oil contamination or changes in the oil condition can be determined on site, before and during operation. For this purpose we offer various equipment or oil analysis sensors.

KLEENOIL ICC - Identification Contamination Control

KLEENOIL ICC - Identification Contamination Control is an oil analysis sensor designed for the monitoring of vital parameters that cause an application relevant chang of the fluid. These are amongst others: 

  • Contamination with water and/or solid particles of any kind
  • Contamination caused by mixing with other oils
  • Considerable changes in additive content/condition
  • Considerable changes in viscosity and/or oil ageing

To collect the data the KLEENOIL ICC uses a capacitive sensor to read the oil quality in comparison to the saved calibration. Based on the change of the oil dielectric the actual or rather the still existing oil quality or contamination is shown as a final result. Most application relevant oil values are dependent on each other and this also applies to their changes. For this reason the KLEENOIL ICC and its installed measuring and analysis principle have been designed for the rading and monitoring of the overall condition. A retrieval of single values has not been allowed for.

During the operation of the machine the condition of the oil is checked every 30 minutes. The results are shown on the control panel in an easy understandable way using the "traffic light principle". The evaluating unit disposes of a digital connection to allow an implementation of the indicated signals in the on-board electronics of a machine and the connection to a remote monitoring system.

For a complete analysis of your lubricant it will be a pleasure to make a detailed test in our own or an independent laboratory. This allows for detailed information to determine the measures that are required. By this means it can be determined really in detail which measures are required. With the oil analysis data we provide a comprehensible and summarized annotation and recommendation.
